VIDEO OF THE DAY

Men's Soccer senior defender Kevin Stam was honored on Wednesday during University of South Carolina President Dr. Harris Pastides' State of the University Address for his involvement in the "No Limits" campaign. Stam is a social work major and is working towards a career within the field of international mediation and conflict resolution.

ROOSTER CROWS

Women's
volleyball hits the road this weekend. They will play at Auburn Friday night then travel to Tennessee for a Sunday night match-up. The 13-0 start for the Gamecocks is the best in the program's NCAA-era history and South Carolina ranks as one of seven teams in NCAA Division I still undefeated.

Juliette Thevenin stands 15th in SC history with 855 kills and 2,239 attacks. Thevenin needs 37 more kills to tie Belita Salters for 14th. Eleven more attacks will move Thevenin past Colleen McKenzie for 14th on that list. Thevenin is now second in kills per set (3.77) and 10th in digs per set (2.80) on the career charts.

FAN PHOTO OF THE DAY

Today's fan photo was sent in by Becky Chisholm who said:

"We took a trip with family and friends to see the USC v. UAB game.  It was a first game for me and three others in our group.  The little guy is my 5 year old nephew, Gabriel Chisholm, and it was his first game.  He was SO excited and cheered for his Gamecocks the whole game!!"
