THIS WEEK IN GAMECOCK COUNTRY...
Students moved in to campus this weekend and several Gamecock teams open their seasons this weekend at home as 2012-13 is officially underway. Volleyball will host the Gamecock Invitational presented by Courtyard Marriott. They'll play two matches each on Friday and Saturday in the tournament. Men's Soccer and Women's Soccer each host their home openers this weekend as well. Official team posters for all three squads will be available at all their home events for free.
Season tickets for volleyball, women's soccer, and men's soccer are just $25 each for adults and $10 each for youth 17 and under. Click here to purchase online.

#24 Women's Soccer vs. Mercer - 7 p.m.
UPDATE: GAMECOCKS WIN 2-0
-Home opener
*The Gamecocks had two road matches to open the season this weekend with both going to overtime. They ended in a draw with Milwaukee and a 2-1 loss to Minnesota. The home opener vs. Mercer is the first of six straight home games.

*The Gamecocks earned victories in two exhibition games last week, 6-3 over Georgia State and 2-0 vs. Elon.
*Junior preseason All-Conference USA forward Bradlee Baladez scored both goals in the win over Elon.
