GAMECOCKS IN THE PROS
NFL Preseason games kicked off last night giving several Gamecocks their first opportunity to shine in the pros. First round pick Melvin Ingram stole the spotlight immediately getting a sack on Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. While the Bears' offense struggled as a whole, second rounder Alshon Jeffery was the bright spot, leading the team in receptions and receiving yards. Corner Stephon Gilmore started for the Bills in their loss to the Redskins.
