Football Season Tickets Update

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks

Can you believe it's only just a little over a month until the 2012 football season kicks off?

After a record-setting season in 2011, interest in the Gamecocks across the country has grown as the media and college football fans debate what South Carolina will do for an encore in 2012.

Fans renewing their season tickets have completed the seat selection process. That means that all remaining seats are available now for anyone purchasing season tickets. You can use our interactive map to see in real time exactly which seats are available.

How would you like this view on gameday? These seats in section 506, along with lots of other great locations, are still available.

As season ticket sales continue to go well with the season approaching, we will also be announcing on-sale dates for mini plans and single game tickets sometime next week. As in the past, Gamecock Club members will have the first opportunity to purchase both mini plans and single game tickets. If you're not already a member, you can join online here or by calling the Gamecock Club at
803.777.4276. Joining at The Roost donation level is just $55.

The video board construction and the renovation of the old Farmer's Market area are both on schedule for the season. It's amazing to see the transformation of Williams-Brice Stadium and to think about how the gameday environment and atmosphere will be even better than before.

Season parking passes are also still available. For the first time this year, you can use our same interactive map to pick out your exact parking space.

Click here for a step-by-step guide for how to get season tickets or use our Ticket Wizard for more information on season tickets..

If you've been following along with the construction progress over at the former Farmer's Market, you know it's coming along beautifully and will be a fantastic atmosphere for tailgating and spending time with your favorite Gamecock friends and family before football games. You can check out our on-going photo gallery of the project here.

As amazing as the new facility is going to be, we could use some help from Gamecock Country to come up with the perfect name!

Here are a few ideas that have been discussed: Gamecock Park, Spur Park, The Commons at Williams-Brice. Click here to join the conversation on Facebook about the names or leave your own suggestion!
