Senior left-handed pitcher Michael Roth is one of 10 finalists selected for the 2012 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for baseball. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence - community, classroom, character and competition.
Fans are encouraged to vote on the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award website through June 11. Fan votes will be combined with media and Division I men's head coaches' votes to determine the winner.

Get to know senior third baseman Evan Childs in her Gamecock Spotlight. Hard to believe the season has gone by so fast but the softball team hosts their final home series this weekend vs. Auburn! Senior Day ceremonies will be on Sunday shortly before the games 1 p.m. start time.
ROOSTER CROWS
Women's Tennis Junior Jaklin Alawi and Senior Anya Morgina were named to the All-SEC Second Team. Alawi leads the Gamecocks in singles and doubles victories this season with a 25-8 singles record and has a 22-11 record in doubles.
Morgina has played No.1 singles all season long for the second year in a row and is 20-9 overall. She has held a national ranking all season long and earns a second consecutive nod to an All-SEC Team this year.
