Almost everyone expected Jeffery to head to the NFL Draft after three years, though rumors about his weight plagued him early in the scouting process this off-season. Jeffery silenced critics when he weighed in at the NFL Combine at 216 lbs., then at 213 lbs. at South Carolina's Pro Day in March. He elected to perform all his drills at his Pro Day instead of the Combine and solidified his projection as a first or second round pick.
