Dawn Staley has been nominated for induction into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame both as an individual and as a member of the 1996 Women's Basketball gold medal team. The '96 team also included Gamecock assistant coach Nikki McCray. Fan votes will count toward the final voting tallies. Fans can vote once per day through April 9, 2012. Let's help get Coach Staley this much-deserved honor!

ESPN Sport Science findings: Coming out of his spin move, in just three steps Melvin Ingram accelerates to almost 18 miles per hour. At 264 lbs. he's capable of generating hits of more than 2,500 lbs. of force. More
Stanford Women's Basketball is fifth in the nation in scoring, averaging 76.7 points a game, while South Carolina is fourth in the nation in defense, allowing 50.7 points a game.The Gamecocks have held a team below its scoring average 33 times this season, holding a team at least 10 points under that mark 21 times, including 10 of 16 SEC games. Only seven games have seen an opponent score 60 or more points.
