Former South Carolina Men's Soccer player Blake Brettschneider signed with the New England Revolution Tuesday. Brettschneider made his Major League Soccer debut last summer after being selected by D.C. United in the MLS Supplemental Draft. Despite making 15 appearances (nine starts) as a rookie he was released by D.C. in February. Just days later Brettschneider was snatched up by New England who put him on trial and officially made him a part of the roster Tuesday.
