After a big win in the Capital One Bowl on Monday, Spurs Up is back in town and ready for some hoops action. Men's Basketball takes on South Carolina State tonight at 7:00 p.m. and the women's team will host #24/21 Vanderbilt in their second SEC contest of the season on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Women's Basketball got a win over Alabama on Sunday to start off conference play with a win. The team, now with a 12-2 record, has crept into the "others receiving votes" section of the Women's Basketball Top 25 polls.

*Senior Malik Cooke tallied a career high 24 points, while collecting 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season vs. USC Upstate on Saturday. It was the third double-double of his career.

*All 13 players on the Gamecocks' active roster saw time in the win over Alabama on Sunday, with 10 finding their way into the scoring column. Three Gamecocks scored in double figures - Ieasia Walker (12), Markeshia Grant (11) and Tina Roy (10).
