Pre-Game & Fan Photos: South Carolina vs. Clemson

Watch videos from last night's press conference as Coach Spurrier, Connor Shaw, Travian Robertson and Melvin Ingram discuss the Gamecocks earning a Capital One Bowl bid.

This year marks the first time the Gamecocks have been ranked among the nation's top 10 teams at the end of the regular season since the 1987 squad was 8-3 and ranked ninth by the AP.

Men's Basketball's 58-55 win over Clemson gives them two straight victories over the Tigers. As a Gamecock in two sports, Bruce Ellington is now 3-0 vs. Clemson for his career (two wins in basketball and one in football).

Today's photo is from Jennifer Sexton of York, SC, with a great story:

"Our house is loaded with Gamecock love!  But, for me, no seasons were as special as the years that Spencer Lanning played for the Gamecocks!  Spencer was one of my first students my first year of teaching 6th grade in York, SC.  Watching him play was very much like watching my child play!  He became my son, Landon's, hero!  Landon decided he would grow up to be a kicker just like Spencer!  Last year, for Christmas, we decided to have a jersey specially made for Landon with Spencer's number.  Spencer, being the awesome young man he is, agreed to meet Landon and sign his jersey when he came home from pre-bowl practice to celebrate Christmas with his family.  He even played football with him before we left.  I have never seen a more excited little boy - Santa was definitely one-upped!  GO COCKS!"
