1075 the game logo.jpgTune in to tonight's "Inside the Roost" radio show with AD Eric Hyman and host Derek Scott as they are joined by two Gamecock greats and South Carolina Athletics Hall of Fame members, Jeff Grantz and Todd Ellis.

Grantz, former South Carolina quarterback (1973-75) and shortstop/second baseman (1973-76), was the co-captain of the 1975 squad that earned a berth in the Tangerine Bowl, the Gamecocks' lone appearance in the Orlando bowl game now known as the Capital One Bowl. Grantz was a second team AP All-American in '75 and amassed over 5,000 yards of total offense in his career. On the baseball side, he played on three NCAA Tournament teams, including the 1975 squad that advanced to the finals of the College World Series.

Ellis, former South Carolina quarterback (1986-89), can still be heard every week as the Gamecock Radio Network's play-by-play caller. A co-captain in 1989, Ellis re-wrote the record books during his career at Carolina and remains the program's all-time leading passer and winningest quarterback. He earned second-team All-America honors in 1986 and was the team MVP three of his four years. Ellis led the 1987 team to a Gator Bowl berth and No.15 ranking. 1987 was also the last season the Gamecocks faced Nebraska, their upcoming opponent in the Capital One Bowl on January 2.

Listen in on 107.5 The Game tonight to hear from Grantz and Ellis as well as discussion on the latest topics in Gamecock Athletics and college sports.

"Inside the Roost" airs every Monday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on 107.5 The Game. You can also listen online!
