On tonight's "Inside the Roost" radio show, AD Eric Hyman and host Derek Scott will be joined by Colonel Clayton Sheffield from Fort Jackson, Associate Director of Marketing Josh Waters and Women's Basketball Assistant Coach Nikki McCray. COL. Sheffield and Waters will discuss the Men's Basketball team's relationship with Fort Jackson, including their training day on base that was the basis of the "Gamecock Confidential: Men's Basketball Back to Basics" show that aired on ABC Columbia this weekend.
They will also discuss the program's upcoming Salute to the Military day at this Saturday's game vs. #2 Ohio State (Noon tip-off, tickets available).
McCray will be on to talk about the Women's Basketball team's start to the season. The Gamecocks are 7-2 with their most recent win Sunday over Furman, 72-33, giving the squad their best record since opening the 2007-08 season with the same mark.
