The honor continues the streak of a Gamecock being among the SEC weekly honorees in every week so far this season: Rokevious Watkins (Offensive Lineman of the Week: Week 1), Melvin Ingram (Special Teams Player of the Week: Week 2, Defensive Player of the Week: Weeks 4 and 5), and Marcus Lattimore (Offensive Player of the Week: Week 3)
