The Presidential initiatives announced last week by the NCAA will be the major topic of discussion on tonight's "Inside the Roost" radio show. University of South Carolina President Harris Pastides will join Athletics Director Eric Hyman and host Derek Scott on the show to discuss the initiatives and their implications. Some of the proposed changes include more stringent academic standards, including a minimum APR score for post-season eligibility, and student-athlete welfare measures, including additional athletics financial aid.Courtney Newton, Women's Basketball student-athlete and President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), will also join the discussion to add the student-athlete perspective on the initiatives.
