Head Coach Steve Spurrier and running backs coach Jay Graham both knew what they had in the freshman from Blythewood, praising his work ethic and abilities all week.
Brandon Wilds racked up 168 total yards (137 yards rushing on 28 carries, 3 catches for 31 yards), including 51 yards on the game-winning 98-yard drive in the third quarter that was capped by five-yard touchdown by Connor Shaw.
