Bradlee Baladez - NCAA 2010.jpgFollowing up last year's Conference USA championship (#5 on our Top 15 Moments of 2010-11 Countdown!), South Carolina Men's Soccer will enter the 2011 season ranked among the best in the country. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released their pre-season rankings Tuesday with the Gamecocks at #15.

South Carolina faces a tough schedule, with four games this season against opponents also ranked in the pre-season Top 25: SMU, Brown, Dartmouth, and North Carolina. The Gamecocks are also taking on four more teams just outside the rankings but currently receiving votes: Charlotte, Wake Forest, Tulsa, and UCF. Fortunately, six of those eight matches are at home in Stone Stadium, so the Gamecocks will have their great home crowd support when taking on other top teams.

Pre-season practice kicks off Wednesday for the Gamecocks! Stay tuned for more on the team from GamecocksOnline.com.

Season tickets for every Men's Soccer home game are just $25 for adults and $10 for youth. Click here for info.
