THIS WEEK IN GAMECOCK COUNTRY
Baseball will play at 1:00 PM tomorrow vs. Liberty in a make-up game for the March 9th Davidson game canceled due to rain. Tickets for the game are available at GamecocksOnline.com or fans can use their tickets from the Davidson game to gain entry. It's also $1 Hot Dog Day at Carolina Stadium so why not take a late lunch and catch a little baseball? The Gamecocks will also be at home this weekend for a three-game series vs. SEC West opponent Auburn with 7:00 PM games on Friday and Saturday and a 3:00 PM first pitch on Sunday. Softball also hosts a three-game series this weekend, facing off against #9 Florida. Saturday's game at 2:00 PM will be Senior Day so get there early to help give our seniors a great send-off!
Christian Walker was named SEC Player of the Week after batting .909 (10-for-11) at Mississippi State this weekend, including four RBI in the rubber game, a 13-4 victory.
