THIS WEEK IN GAMECOCK COUNTRY
Baseball and Softball both host midweek games this week before hitting the road this weekend. Baseball will take on USC Upstate at 7:00 PM on Tuesday. Softball will also play an in-state foe on Tuesday, taking on Charleston Southern at 5:00 PM. Softball will take to Beckham Field again on Wednesday at 4:00 PM to take on Head Coach Beverly Smith's former squad, North Carolina. The first 100 students at the game will receive free pizza. Next door at Weems Baskin Track, South Carolina will host the Gamecock Open Meet on Wednesday afternoon.
Women's Tennis hosts its final two home matches this week vs. Tennessee at 2:00 PM on Friday and then vs. Georgia at 1:00 PM on Sunday. The Sunday match with the Dawgs is Senior Day, so come cheer on your Gamecocks in their final home appearance. Miljana Jocic (left) is the lone senior for the Gamecocks. The first 50 fans will receive free pizza. Admission to tennis events is free.
Gamecock Football will wrap up spring practice on Saturday with the Garnet and Black Spring Game at 1:00 PM. Admission is free and the first ever Gamecock Fan Fest will kick off 30 minutes after the end of the game. Fan Fest will include various activities on the field: skills challenges, photo opportunities with trophies, Cocky and the cheerleaders, live music and more. Click here for more info.
