Laura Mendes scored the lone run in the Gamecocks' 1-0 win over UNC today with a homer in the 6th inning.
Tomorrow night's Baseball game at Tennessee kicks off ESPN's new "SEC Baseball Game of the Week" series. Watch live at 7:30 PM on ESPNU!
Florida will unveil three statues outside of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at halftime of their spring game this Saturday, featuring the school's three Heisman winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996) and Tim Tebow (2007).

Today's photo is from proud grandmother and Gamecock fan Linda Timmerman. She said, "this was taken at the 2010 spring game as part of the Timmerman triplets' 5th birthday celebration....:) The trips (Campbell, Macey and Mike) plus one (big brother Carson) all love Gamecock football...their dad graduated from there so their loyalty has been there since birth!"
