Tonight's guests joining AD Eric Hyman and host Derek Scott on "Inside the Roost" are junior pitcher Michael Roth and assistant football coach Steve Spurrier Jr.Roth helped lead the Baseball team to a 9-2 win over #1 Florida on Friday in Gainesville, pitching a season high 8.1 innings and allowing just two runs on 10 hits while striking out six and walking two. For the season, Roth is 5-1 with a 1.50 ERA and has pitched a team-high 42.0 innings.
Spurrier Jr. coaches the wide receivers and recently took over duties as Recruiting Coordinator. The Gamecocks are about midway through spring practice with the Garnet and Black Spring Game scheduled for April 9th at 1:00 PM with the first ever Fan Fest to follow.
