We've been counting down the weeks with our Gamecock Confidential web series and it's finally here. The New Chapter for South Carolina Softball begins today under new head coach Beverly Smith.
This weekend's Palmetto State Showdown tournament hosted at Beckham Field includes four games for Carolina, the first of which is Opening Day today vs. Charleston Southern at 3:00 PM. The Gamecocks play again tomorrow at 10:30 AM vs. Furman and at 12:30 PM vs. Coastal Carolina and wrap up the weekend at 5:00 PM on Sunday vs. USC Upstate.
Season tickets for Softball are just $25 for adults and $10 for youth. Single game prices are $5 for adults and $3 for youth so an adult season ticket will almost pay for itself and a youth season ticket more than pays for itself with just this weekend's line-up of games.
