Got word from Vanderbilt that they have some tickets available for this Saturday's game vs. our Gamecocks. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM ET and the game will air on FSN. Tickets are $50 each.
I've made the trip to Vanderbilt for a football game once as a fan and really enjoyed Nashville (and a Gamecocks W!). We made a weekend trip out of it and did a lot of exploring around downtown Nashville, including going to a Titans game. It's about a seven hour drive from Columbia. Going up through the mountains in NC is a nice drive and there will be some beautiful views this time of year with the leaves changing.
For fans making the road trip in an RV, Vandy has a new parking area for RV's than in years past. The new lot is located on the corner of 21st Avenue South and Broadway, it is accessible from 21st Avenue South off of West End Avenue.
