Softball fans are in for a treat on October 22nd, as the South Carolina softball team will take on the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) All-Star team here in Columbia.
It's a great opportunity for fans to get a preview of the 2011 Gamecocks as well as watch some of the most elite softball players in the country. The NPF team is full of Olympians and former collegiate All-Americans.
New Gamecocks coach Beverly Smith emphasized what a great opportunity it is for fans and young softball players to see the best of the best. There will also be a post-game autograph session where fans can interact with all the players.

Where: Beckham Field on the South Carolina campus
Tickets: $5 Adults, $3 Youth (17 and under), $1 Groups of 15 or more (Great group activity for softball teams!)
