Interview with Joalin Goff, ESPN College GameDay Operations Producer

A big thank you to Joalin Goff, Operations Producer for ESPN College GameDay, who spoke with Spurs Up Blog today about the logistics behind the set-up of the GameDay show. A lot of behind the scenes efforts are crucial to a successful broadcast. The weekly show travels across the country from week to week with eight trucks and anywhere from 75 to 85 people who set up a 10,000 square foot set area within a matter of hours. A lot of work has taken place in just a few days to prepare for the thousands of fans who will descend on the Horseshoe Saturday morning. Nine cameras, including a FlyCam that moves over the crowd in the Pit behind the stage, will capture all the action. Watch the full interview with Joalin below to find out more about what it takes to bring College GameDay live to you every Saturday morning:

Check out the slideshow below for behind-the-scenes shots of the GameDay production.
