Some early nuggets on the Carolina-Georgia game set for Saturday at high noon:

* The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Mark Jones and Bob Davie will be in the booth with Quint Kessenich on the sidelines. ESPN Radio will also be in Columbia with Bill Rosinski and David Norrie handling the call with Joe Schad on the sidelines.

* According to ticket manager Lance Grantham, approximately 1,500 tickets remain for the contest. Tickets are priced at $55 each.

* At halftime, there will be a special recognition remembering 9/11.

* The South Carolina depth chart has been released. Click here to get the most recent depth chart.

* Did you know that if the Carolina backups did not allow that Southern Miss touchdown in the waning moments of last Thursday's game, it would have been the third straight season opening win in which the Gamecocks did not surrender a touchdown? They blanked NC State, 34-0 in the 2008 opener, then topped the Wolfpack again in 2009 by a 7-3 score.

* Congratulations to T.J. Johnson for being selected as the SEC's Offensive Lineman of the Week. T.J. made his first start at center after earning Freshman All-SEC honors as a guard last year, and helped the Gamecocks log 449 yards of total offense, 224 on the ground and 225 through the air.
