Check out the Gamecock Football promotional site to watch the newest Hometown video as kicker Spencer Lanning talks about growing up in Rock Hill.

Lanning, a senior, handles both the placekicking and punting duties for South Carolina. Named fourth-team All-SEC by Phil Steele in 2009, Lanning led the team with 79 points, the seventh-most in school history. He was also a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award and named to the Ray Guy Watch List.

One of his favorite memories from Rock Hill was going to his grandmother's house to go swimming. Lanning enjoys going home to see how the town has grown over the years.  The senior also tells a unique story about his Signing Day experience. What does he love about Gamecock fans? "They're the craziest bunch of people I've ever seen in my life."

The next Hometown video will be posted on July 22.
