Even though the Gamecocks play in Carolina Stadium now, Gamecock fans will always have special memories of the original home of the baseball team - Sarge Frye Field. The team hasn't played there in two years, but this week was truly the end of an era for the ballpark as demolition work on the stadium began. Here's some photos of the demolition of Sarge Frye Field as work begins to prepare the area for the new athletics village:
