We received word this morning of the passing of former Gamecock offensive lineman Calvin Stephens. Stephens, who came to Carolina from Kings Mountain, N.C., was a four-year letterwinner from 1987-90, playing both offensive guard and offensive tackle. Stephens was selected in the third round (56th overall) of the 1991 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. Our thoughts and prayers are with Calvin's family and friends.
