South Carolina's softball team will host its annual Strikeout Cancer Weekend at Beckham Field as the Gamecocks welcome the Tennessee Volunteers to town for a three-game series.
Friday's game starts at 5 p.m. and the teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. On Friday, fans will receive free "Go Gamecocks" fan banners (while supplies last). On Saturday, kids in attendance can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt. In addition, a silent auction will be held including signed helmets & jerseys from the softball team, as well as balls signed from other Gamecock sports including a basketball signed by Darrin Horn and a pink basketball signed by the women's basketball team and coaching staff. The first pitch on Saturday will be thrown out by leukemia survivor Hannah Bilton. For more on Hannah's story, read here.
