While the Gamecocks took two of three on the road at Vanderbilt this weekend, here's what happened around the SEC:
Alabama @ Kentucky (7-6 UK, 8-2 UK, 11-9 Alabama)
-Alabama avoided the series sweep on the road with a win in Sunday's finale.
Arkansas @ Mississippi State (8-3 Ark, 8-5 Ark, 13-3 Ark)
-The Razorbacks take sole possession of first place in the SEC West with a weekend sweep of the Bulldogs. Arkansas is tied with South Carolina for first place overall in the SEC.
LSU @ Auburn (14-10 LSU, 11-7 Aub, 6-5 Aub)
-In one of the more surprising results of the weekend, the Tigers take two from No. 3 LSU and snap the Tigers' streak of seven consecutive SEC series wins. Auburn won the series and Game 3 on a squeeze play in the bottom of the ninth inning - see video below:
Florida @ Tennessee (4-2 UF, 12-4 UT, 9-1 UF)
-The Gators took two of three from the Vols to keep pace behind the Gamecocks in the SEC East.
Ole Miss @ Georgia (4-1 Miss, 4-3 Miss, 6-3 UGA)
-The Bulldogs salvaged a win at home, but dropped the series to the visiting Rebels.
