Top of the Key: WBB vs. Vanderbilt

The Gamecocks travel to Nashville, Tenn. to play in their last conference game against the Lady Commodores before they enter the first round of the SEC Tournament. Tip off is set for 1 p.m.

South Carolina (13-14,6-9) Notes

-South Carolina is 170-127 (.572) all-time in February, including a 98-37 (.731) mark at home and a 55-78 slate on the road. 

-South Carolina's last win over Vandy was a 66-57 triumph by the then-No.15 Gamecocks over the then No.17 Commodores on Jan. 16, 2003, in Nashville. It was Carolina's first ever win on the Commodores' home court and was the Gamecocks' second consecutive against Vanderbilt.

-Kelsey Bone's eight double-doubles are the most by a Gamecocks freshman since Sheila Foster posted 13 in 1978-79.

-The Gamecocks are shooting 34.4 percent from 3-point range in SEC play to rank third in the league. For the season, South Carolina has hit 35 percent of its 3-point attempts (123-351) to rank third in the league and 55th in the nation. 


Vanderbilt (20-8,9-6) Notes

-The Commodores are the only team in the NCAA Division I that has been ranked in the Top 12 for field goal percentage in each of the last seven seasons.

-The Commodores hold a 20-5 lead in all-time series and have won the last eight meetings between the two teams. 

-Vanderbilt is now 12-2 when making more 3-pointers than their opponents and they are 11-1 when out-rebounding their opponents. 

-Entering this season, Melanie Blacomb's Commodore teams had made 48.1 percent of their shot attempts (6268-of-13025) and ranked either first or second in the country three times.
