South Carolina will face Tennessee in the second game of the series today at 1:30 at Colonial Life Arena. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network where Carter Blackburn and Jamal Mashburn will have the call. South Carolina (14-11. 5-6) Notes
•    Freshman guard Ramon Galloway drew his fifth start of the season against Arkansas and his first since the Vanderbilt contest (1/16) at Arkansas. Galloway contributed six points, one assist and one steal vs. the Razorbacks.

•    Junior Forward Sam Muldrow set career highs with 23 points and four 3s vs. Arkansas on Wednesday. It was his first-career 20-point game. Muldrow is one of five Gamecocks who average double-figures with 10.1 points per game (11.0 ppg in SEC play).


•    South Carolina ranks ninth in the nation in turnover margin (4.5).

•    Senior guard Devan Downey has scored 20 or more points in 12 of the last 14 games, and has tallied 30 or more in five of 11 SEC contests this season. He was just two points shy of his sixth 30-point effort of league play with 28 points at Arkansas on Wednesday.


•    South Carolina owns an 80-69 record all-time in SEC home games.

 

Tennessee (19-6, 7-4) Notes
•    Tennessee holds a 32=23 advantage in the all-time series against South Carolina.

•    The Vols have won eight of the last 10 meetings between the two schools and two straight in Columbia, including an 86-70 win last season at Colonial Life Arena.

•    The last time Vols senior Wayne Chism took the court against the Gamecocks, he scored a career-high 30 points.

•    The Gamecocks and Volunteers ranks first and second, respectively, in SEC steals per game.

•    UT is second in the SEC in 3-point defense, holding foes to .303 shooting from long distance.

•    Senior wing J.P. Prince ranks fourth in the SEC in steals (1.6 spg), 10th in assist/turnover ratio (1.5), an d 10th in assists (3.2 apg). He has drawn a team-high 17 charges for the Vols this season.
