It's not difficult to notice that things look a little different around here at Spurs Up. We've moved from our original location on WordPress to a platform managed by CBS College Sports. We're still moving furniture around and hanging pictures, so you might see some things change over the next few days.
There are several advantages to our new format:
1) We are now integrated into the GamecocksOnline.com page design. So if you're reading a blog post about the Gamecock softball team and want to know when their next game is, you can just scroll right up to Schedules. Pretty helpful, right?
2) Want to share with your friends on your social networking site of choice a great Q&A with your favorite Gamecock student-athlete? Just click the Share button and select your network. Easy as pie.
3) More embedded video. With this new format, we can embed video from pretty much any source that allows it. For example, a video from ESPN.com could not be embedded on the WordPress platform. Now we can bring more content to you through the blog.
