Today's Know a Gamecock features Gamecock softballer Audrey Broyles. A sophomore pitcher from Pembroke Pines, Florida, Broyles is a right-hander who started 30 games for South Carolina in 2009. She finished her debut season with a 10-12 record, a 2.67 ERA and struck out 130 batters in 144 innings of work. She tossed all nine complete games for the Gamecock staff in 2009.
What is a talent or power you would like to have?
I think it would be really cool if I had super sonic speed and be able to just run...as fast as a car.
What is your most treasured possession?
I would have to go with my iPod because I always use it at the gym to get me pumped while I'm working out and just when I need to relax I listen to some nice slow tunes.
Who are your three favorite artists or bands?
I love Carrie Underwood, The All-American Rejects, and Taylor Swift
What is your dream job?
That's a tough question because I have no idea what I want to do, but I think it would be really cool to work somewhere tropical and exotic. I'm in the hotel, restaurant, tourism, management business, so I think just somewhere like paradise, like Hawaii or something like that...managing or something along those lines would be cool.
What is one place you want to visit before you die?
I would love to visit Australia. I think the animals are so unique and different from what we have over here, so it would be cool to see that. It just seems really beautiful.

Mellow Mushroom is awesome. [Editor: What do you get there?] I just get pepperoni pizza; it's amazing.
