I didn't think that the ncaa would allow South Carolina to host any post season sporting events because of the whole Confederate Flag issue. I can understand why that we would merit a chance to host a post season tourney/regional with the way our facilities have become some of the best in the nation and to be honest the state has earned it. However, because of the NAACP protesting to the NCAA about the flag years ago USC hasn't been able to host any post season events. If this isn't the case then please inform otherwise.
The NCAA hasn't applied to the ban on postseason events to baseball regionals. Pre-determined events such as NCAA basketball championships are primarily affected by the ban. We hosted baseball regionals at Sarge Frye Field in 2007.
